To everyone supporting me on Fanbox —

There’s something I’d like to share. I recently learned for the first time how Fanbox’s “support period” actually works — and honestly, I didn’t know this myself.

About the Fanbox support period

Unlike Ko-fi and Patreon, on Fanbox the support period runs from the day you start supporting until the end of that same month. In other words, even if you start partway through the month, it wraps up at the end of that month. So if you’d like to support via Fanbox, joining at the start of the month is recommended.

If you lost access on Discord

If you suddenly lost access on Discord: sorry for the trouble, but please send me a DM on Discord. If you let me know your support start date, I’ll grant your role manually. That said, I can’t always check right away, so thank you in advance for your patience.

About Fanbox going forward

To be honest, I was so happy that the Discord integration freed me from the admin work of managing support — “more time to focus on creating!” — but it turns out this part still needs to be handled manually, which left me a little deflated.

What I really want is to cut down on tedious admin work as much as possible and pour everything into building the Insect Utopia world I love. That’s exactly why I started using the Discord integration… but since it ends up being the same amount of work, it’s become a feature that doesn’t really mean much for Fanbox. As of June 2026, I’m still thinking about what to do with Fanbox going forward — whether to keep it only as a place for announcements and run support mainly through Ko-fi and Patreon, and so on. I’ll let you know once I’ve decided.

How long does the support period last?
The support period for the first month runs from your support start date to the end of that month; from the following month onward, it runs from the 1st to the last day of the month.

※ Please note that the first month is NOT a full one-month period from your start date.

・Start supporting on Jan 1 … Jan 1 – Jan 31
・Start supporting on Jan 28 … Jan 28 – Jan 31

If you choose credit card / PayPal / pixiv coban:
Your “support start date” and “next payment date” are shown above the “Confirm” button when you select your payment method. Also, with these payment methods, regardless of your first support date, billing happens automatically around the 1st–5th of each month from the following month onward.

关于 Fanbox 支援期间

与 Ko-fi 和 Patreon 不同，在 Fanbox 上，支援期间是从你开始支援的那一天起，到当月月底为止。也就是说，即使你在月中才开始支援，也会在当月月底告一段落。因此，如果你想通过 Fanbox 支援，建议在月初加入。

如果 Discord 无法访问

如果你在 Discord 上突然无法访问：麻烦你通过 Discord 私信联系我。只要告诉我你的支援开始日期，我就会手动为你授予身份组。不过我无法随时查看，所以请你耐心等待，谢谢。

关于今后的打算

老实说，我原本很开心，因为 Discord 连携让我从支援管理的杂务中解放出来——”终于有更多时间专注于创作了！”——但这件事似乎还是得手动处理，让我有点沮丧。

我真正想做的，是尽量减少繁琐的事务工作，把全部精力投入到我热爱的 Insect Utopia 世界的构建中。正因如此我才开始使用 Discord 连携功能……但结果还是一样的工作量，所以对 Fanbox 来说，这个功能变得没什么意义了。截至 2026 年 6 月，我仍在考虑今后该如何处理 Fanbox——比如是否只把它作为公告的场所，而支援主要通过 Ko-fi 和 Patreon 进行，等等。决定好了我会再通知大家。

支援期间到什么时候为止？
首月的支援期间从你的支援开始日起，到当月月底为止；从次月开始，则为每月 1 日到月底。

※ 请注意，首月并非从开始日起的完整一个月。

・1 月 1 日开始支援 … 1/1 – 1/31
・1 月 28 日开始支援 … 1/28 – 1/31

选择信用卡 / PayPal / pixiv coban 付款时：
“支援开始日”和”下次付款日”会显示在选择付款方式时”确认”按钮的上方。此外，使用这些付款方式时，无论你的首次支援日期为何，从次月起都会在每月 1 日至 5 日左右自动扣款。

Hay algo que me gustaría compartir. Hace poco descubrí por primera vez cómo funciona realmente el “periodo de apoyo” de Fanbox — y, sinceramente, yo tampoco lo sabía.

Sobre el periodo de apoyo de Fanbox

A diferencia de Ko-fi y Patreon, en Fanbox el periodo de apoyo va desde el día en que empiezas a apoyar hasta el final de ese mismo mes. Es decir, aunque empieces a mitad de mes, termina al final de ese mes. Por eso, si deseas apoyar a través de Fanbox, se recomienda unirse a principios de mes.

Si pierdes el acceso a Discord

Si de repente pierdes el acceso en Discord: disculpa las molestias, pero envíame un DM por Discord. Si me indicas tu fecha de inicio de apoyo, te asignaré el rol manualmente. Dicho esto, no siempre puedo revisarlo de inmediato, así que gracias de antemano por tu paciencia.

Sobre el futuro de Fanbox

Para ser sincero, estaba muy contento porque la integración con Discord me liberó del trabajo administrativo de gestionar el apoyo — “¡más tiempo para concentrarme en crear!” — pero resulta que esta parte aún hay que hacerla manualmente, lo que me dejó un poco desanimado.

Lo que de verdad quiero es reducir al máximo el tedioso trabajo administrativo y volcar todo en construir el mundo de Insect Utopia que tanto amo. Precisamente por eso empecé a usar la integración con Discord… pero como al final supone el mismo trabajo, se ha convertido en una función que no tiene mucho sentido para Fanbox. A junio de 2026, sigo pensando qué hacer con Fanbox de aquí en adelante — si conservarlo solo como un lugar para anuncios y gestionar el apoyo principalmente a través de Ko-fi y Patreon, etc. Os avisaré en cuanto lo decida.

Explicación oficial (extracto)

¿Cuánto dura el periodo de apoyo?
El periodo de apoyo del primer mes va desde tu fecha de inicio hasta el final de ese mes; a partir del mes siguiente, va del día 1 al último día del mes.

※ Ten en cuenta que el primer mes NO es un mes completo desde tu fecha de inicio.
(Ejemplos)
・Empiezas a apoyar el 1 de enero … 1/1 – 31/1
・Empiezas a apoyar el 28 de enero … 28/1 – 31/1

Si eliges tarjeta de crédito / PayPal / pixiv coban:
Tu “fecha de inicio de apoyo” y “próxima fecha de pago” aparecen encima del botón “Confirmar” al seleccionar el método de pago. Además, con estos métodos, independientemente de tu primera fecha de apoyo, el cobro se realiza automáticamente entre el día 1 y el 5 de cada mes a partir del mes siguiente.
